Look for the U12 Berea Braves at Cleveland Browns Stadium as they volunteer to hand out complimentary souvenirs at the gate. The Browns play the Baltimore Ravens at 1:00pm that day and this volunteer charity work helps vault the Braves one step closer to Cooperstown.

BEREA TRAVEL BASEBALL

The Berea Travel program is developed from the Berea Baseball Association (BBA) recreational league, in an effort to prepare athletes for the Berea High School Program. It is believed that by having the best players of a community compete with the best of other communities will better prepare these athletes to compete at the High School and College levels. This organization has helped to provide a higher level of competition than a community level league could provide. The Berea Travel Program consist of one-team per age group (from ages 9-14). The coaching staffs of these teams are carefully selected and governed by the Berea Baseball Association, the players are then put through a series of skill drills & workouts during a tryout period and the teams are selected each fall for the next season. Each team represents the city of Berea Ohio while playing in the Cuyahoga Valley Baseball Association (CVBA). The CVBA was established in 1991 as an organization of community level All Star teams. The Braves play in Bid or Non-Bid divisions depending upon their level of team play. Each team plays between 18-24 regular season summer games. In addition, most teams will participate in local tournaments, some of the older teams play in State tournaments and the U12 team participates in the Cooperstown Dreamspark Tournament each season.
